Modular Architecture

Each preset can consist of up to 16 independent layers. Layers can be easily added or duplicated with a single action.

Each layer supports up to 16 modules. Available module types include:

• Sound Generators: basic oscillator, additive, vector, wavetable, analog, granular, and modulator.

• Effects: digital filter, analog filter, variable filter, ladder filter, diode ladder filter, Bite, comb filter, phaser, formant filter, and waveshaper.

Modules can also be freely added and duplicated within each layer.

Each layer supports up to 32 modulation sources:

• ADSR envelopes and multi-stage envelopes.

• Low-frequency oscillators (standard, stepped, and noise-based).

• Scaler (for transforming one signal into another using a custom curve).

Modulation sources can be easily added and copied as needed.

The Routing tab displays the complete signal flow within a layer — you can add, remove, bypass modules, and rearrange connections by simple drag and drop.

Three Editing Views

• Layer View — edit a single layer in full detail.

• Track View — configure keyboard zones, velocity ranges, unison settings, arpeggiator, and sequencer across multiple layers simultaneously.

• Mix View — adjust built-in effects and send levels for multiple layers at once.

New Granular Oscillator

Works with a single sample, multisample, or wavetable as its source material.

Up to 16 voices, each containing up to 32 grains — for a total of up to 512 simultaneous grains.

You can randomize volume, pan, detune, position, grain length, and playback direction for deeply evolving textures.

New Analog Oscillator (VAnalog)

Generates sound in real time by emulating authentic analog circuitry on your Mac.

Two primary waveforms with smooth morphing between them, plus a dedicated sub-oscillator.

A wide selection of built-in waveforms modeled after iconic analog synthesizers.

Includes quality settings to prevent digital aliasing artifacts at higher note ranges.

New Waveshaper

11 distortion types plus a custom mode where you can draw your own distortion curve by hand.

New Phaser Filter

Operates per-voice and produces a classic phaser effect with rich, swirling character.

New Formant Filter

Creates vowel-like sounds. Select a start vowel and an end vowel — then smoothly morph between them for expressive vocal textures.

New Noise Modulation Generator

Produces stepped noise in various colors (white, pink, and more), with bit reduction and envelope shaping capabilities.

Now accepts any signal as input and transforms it according to a user-defined curve for precise modulation control.

Arpeggiator and Sequencer

Each layer features its own dedicated arpeggiator and step sequencer.

Random values can be assigned to each individual step for unpredictable variation.

Each layer can send MIDI output to a separate channel in your DAW for advanced routing.
