This plugin operates on a 12-note chromatic scale and allows you to determine which notes within the reverb space are boosted and which ones decay. An expanded set of parameters helps shape musical texture, control the movement of sound, and take advantage of 29 premium spaces that are entirely built on modal technology.

Using the Temper and Range controls, the user fine-tunes the musicality of the reverb, defining the degree of boost or attenuation for selected notes and choosing which octaves will be affected. Additional parameters such as Target and Note Width extend these capabilities further, enabling more precise control over note behavior in both studio production on Mac and live performance scenarios.

Eventide Temperance Pro plugin includes 29 ready-made spaces, each of which sounds complete and fully realized on its own. The collection features intimate chamber rooms, large concert halls, rich mechanical reverbs, and experimental synthetic spaces. Classic algorithmic and impulse-based reverberators have been translated into the modal format using a patented machine learning technology developed specifically for this purpose.

The collection showcases authentic recreations of legendary acoustic spaces, including designs by acoustic engineer Ralph Kessler, as well as original Eventide spaces created specifically to demonstrate the full potential and expressive range of modal reverberation.

Standard parameters for mix level, decay time, and space size provide a familiar and intuitive workflow. Additional modal controls such as Density, Position, and Offset allow users to reshape the atmosphere and tonal character of each space in entirely new ways.

Eventide Temperance Pro Mac gives direct control over the musical movement of the reverb. Note selection panels let you define exactly which notes will drive changes in the sound, using manual mode, sequence mode, or MIDI input.

In manual mode, notes are selected with a single click using a piano roll interface, with quick selection options for chords, scales, modes, and intervals. Sequence mode transforms the reverb into a compositional tool, enabling you to program note changes that follow chord progressions and musical structures. MIDI mode provides the ability to control notes in real time from an external controller or keyboard.

The plugin includes over 120 presets designed to inspire creativity and support work with various instruments, genres, and musical styles.
