DMCA & Copyright Policy
Appstorrent respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. This page sets forth the procedure for submitting copyright infringement notifications and counter-notifications pursuant to the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, 17 U.S.C. § 512 ("DMCA").
In accordance with the DMCA and other applicable copyright laws, it is the policy of Appstorrent to respond expeditiously to clear notices of alleged copyright infringement that comply with the requirements set out below. This Policy describes the information that must be included in such notices, the procedure for submitting them, and the remedies available to users whose content has been removed in error.
1. Notification of Claimed Infringement
If you are a copyright owner, or an agent thereof, and believe that any material accessible on or through the Service infringes upon your copyrights, you may submit a written notification (a "Notice") to our Designated Agent identified in Section 5 below.
To be effective under the DMCA, a Notice must be a written communication that includes substantially the following:
- A physical or electronic signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed, or, if multiple copyrighted works are covered by a single Notice, a representative list of such works.
- Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing or to be the subject of infringing activity and that is to be removed or access to which is to be disabled, and information reasonably sufficient to permit us to locate the material — including, where possible, the specific URL(s) of the allegedly infringing content.
- Information reasonably sufficient to permit us to contact the complaining party, including a postal address, telephone number, and, if available, an electronic mail address.
- A statement that the complaining party has a good-faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement that the information in the Notice is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that the complaining party is authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.
Failure to include all of the above information may result in a delay in processing or in the Notice being deemed insufficient under 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3).
2. Counter-Notification
If you believe that material you posted to the Service was removed or access to it was disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification (a "Counter-Notice") to our Designated Agent. To be effective, a Counter-Notice must be a written communication that includes substantially the following:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material that has been removed or to which access has been disabled, and the location at which the material appeared before it was removed or access disabled.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification of the material.
- Your name, postal address, and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which your address is located, or, if your address is outside the United States, of any judicial district in which Appstorrent may be found, and that you will accept service of process from the complainant or an agent thereof.
Upon receipt of a compliant Counter-Notice, we may forward a copy to the original complainant and, unless the complainant files an action seeking a court order against the user, restore the removed material no less than ten (10) and no more than fourteen (14) business days following receipt of the Counter-Notice, as required by 17 U.S.C. § 512(g).
3. Repeat Infringer Policy
In accordance with the DMCA and other applicable law, Appstorrent has adopted a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances and at its sole discretion, the access privileges of users who are deemed to be repeat infringers. We may also, at our sole discretion, limit access to the Service or terminate the access of any user who infringes any intellectual property rights of others, whether or not there is any repeat infringement.
4. Misrepresentations
Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), any person who knowingly materially misrepresents (a) that material or activity is infringing, or (b) that material or activity was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, may be subject to liability for damages, including costs and attorneys' fees, incurred by the alleged infringer, by any copyright owner or copyright owner's authorized licensee, or by the service provider, as a result of our reliance upon the misrepresentation.
Before submitting a Notice or Counter-Notice, you may wish to consult with an attorney or refer to 17 U.S.C. § 512 to confirm your obligations.
5. Designated Agent
All Notices and Counter-Notices must be submitted in writing to the Designated Agent at the address set forth below:
Designated Copyright Agent — Appstorrent
Email: [email protected]
Subject line: DMCA Notice — Appstorrent
For prompt processing, please include "DMCA Notice" or "DMCA Counter-Notice" in the subject line and provide all required information in a single communication. Notices submitted by other means or that do not include the required information may not receive a response.

Appstorrent reserves the right to modify, amend, or update this DMCA & Copyright Policy at any time without prior notice. Any such modifications will become effective upon posting to this page. Your continued use of the Service following the posting of revisions to this Policy constitutes your acceptance of the changes.
